Measuring Website Loyalty
At Classical KUSC we use an industry standard for measuring user loyalty. That standard is 3+ sessions per user and what says is that if a single user returns to the same website three different times (aka sessions) within a period, we will consider them loyal.
Why is the Magic Number 3?
I want to believe some intelligent quant knows this answer, but for now, I can only say that I don't know why it's three and not 5 or 10.
How do I set it Up?
Step 1 - Create a Master View
I always recommend analytics managers first create a view that is not the default one provided by Google. In my example below, it's called "Master View."
Step 2 - Click on this Link

Create GA Segment Configuration - Loyal Users (3+ Sessions)
Step 3 - Apply the Segment Configuration to Your New View
Using the drop-down menu, select the view, and you're done.
